ABOUT DOING IT!

Every week Doing It! podcast explores topics around sexuality and relationships with a brilliant guest giving us all the juicy insights and advice. The podcast started in 2019 and there’s been over 100 episodes and over 1.5 million downloads. The show is curious, non-judgmental, nerdy and hopefully funny at appropriate times too! We sincerely hope that anyone who listens to the podcast, even just one episode, feels like they understand themselves or others a bit better, can be kinder to themselves and feel a little more “normal” (whatever that means!!).

Doing It! is occasionally supported by sponsors but it is mostly funded through Patreon, a membership platform where you can support your favourite creators, musicians, podcasts, artists etc… Patrons of Doing It get early access and AD FREE episodes and the full video podcast (season 5 onwards!).

You can keep up to date with the podcast by subscribing wherever you get your podcasts and following us on social media! We are @doingitpodcast on Instagram.

ABOUT HANNAH

Hi! I’m Hannah, the host of Doing It! I’m a northerner living in London and I’ve been making online content for over 10 years. On YouTube, social and in podcast form I like to explore the wonderful world of sexuality and relationships in an open, curious and engaging way.

I’ve written two books. In 2017, I published my first book, Doing It, a young adult non-fiction education and advice book about sex and relationships and then in 2019 I published The Hormone Diaries, a young adult guide to periods, menstruation and contraception.

I’m incredibly passionate about sex education and I love nerding out about about sex topics in general. I’m also an ambassador with the UK’s leading young people’s sexual health charity, Brook.

Fun facts about me:

- I’ve had ulcerative colitis since I was 7 years old and in 2018 I needed emergency surgery to remove my large intestine and I now live with a stoma (I poo in a bag)

- I love a good colour coordinated spreadsheet

- I got married during the pandemic (2020 wedding!!)

- I buy books faster than I read them…
